Please note that to increase compliance with the City's payment plan terms, the default policy will be changing effective 1/13/26. For standard and standard hardship payment plans, motorists will have three opportunities to default before being prohibited from enrolling in another payment plan with the City. In this instance, a motorist can still set up a payment plan with the assigned collections firm or agency but will be responsible for the associated 22% collection costs. Motorists will continue to have the opportunity to participate in early payment plans as the default policy for those plans will not be changing.
